Personal Choice Reading
Personal Choice Reading:
- Students may pick their own books for independent reading either from the Media Center or from home, although the book must be approved before they begin reading.
* Students will lose points if their novel is not with them in class during a book check.
*When students have extra time in class, they are to read their personal choice novel.
- Students will present a book share to the class at the completion of each marking period. This will help other students to become interested in books mentioned during book shares.
- Personal Choice reading is parts of the participation grade worth 10% of your child’s class average.
