My name is Amanda Bramley and it is my first year here at Southampton School! For the last three years I have taught Middle School Science as a Special Education Teacher and I am excited for this new beginning teaching 4th grade, specifically Pull Out for Language Arts & Math. It may be my first year here at the school but I am no stranger to this amazing town. My grandmother lives right here on Main Street. Growing up we came to the school to go sledding, play on the park, skateboard the street, even sold my favorite car here in the parking lot. I’ve attended every Christmas tree lighting, firework show, and Memorial Day parade. This town has always had my heart, and I’m even more excited to meet the hearts of those who make this town what it is!
A little bit about me as a person, I’m a new mom! I just gave birth to a little boy June 28th who has blessed us to become a family of 5. We have two other boys, Noodles, a German Shepherd, and Yeti, a Red Siberian Husky who are our fur babies. I love being outside, especially with the dogs. Hiking, camping, surfing, skiing, bonfires, paddle boarding, swimming, or simply just sitting and taking in nature is how I dream of spending my free time. While my husband and boys are what drives my everyday.
I’m an optimistic person who loves to see the good in every situation and person, and I use that to drive the energy in my classroom. I am really looking forward to getting to know the children and you, the parents. Thank you for the opportunity to teach your precious children and build a wonderful relationship with them around the love of learning.
