Board of Education Town Hall Meetings
On June 15, 2023, the Board of Education held a Community Town Hall Meeting. This was a successful and well-attended open forum for students, staff, parents, and community members to voice their concerns or provide comments on a number of topics. A panel comprised of the superintendent, Mrs. Michael, and the BOE Town Hall Committee members, President Wright, Vice President Hicks, Mrs. Topf, and Mr. Applegate, answered questions posed by the meeting attendees. Mr. Jesse Adams, an NJSBA representative, moderated the event. The meeting was captured in a two-part video posted below. Thank you to our Media Club advisors, Mr. DePaulo and Mr. Nober, for filming and putting the video together for our community. To view the video in full-screen mode, after hitting the play button, click on the arrows in the upper right-hand corner of the video window.
Prior to the event, the public was invited to pose questions for the panel to answer during the meeting. Unfortunately, time ran out, and many of the questions submitted were left unanswered. Those questions with responses can be found below.
