I was born and grew up in Southampton and went through Southampton Township Schools and Lenape High School.  I went on to Rutgers University in New Brunswick and received my degree in Psychology and my certification in Elementary Education.  I began my teaching career here at Southampton in 1990.  I have taught first, third, fourth, and sixth grade.  I also worked at a private preschool when I spent some time at home after my youngest daughter was born.  Most of my years have been spent in first grade, which is also my favorite grade!
My husband and I were married in 1993.  We have three awesome kids.  Colin was born in 1995, Morgan in 1997, and Camryn came along in 2001.  Colin graduated from Villanova University in 2013 with degrees in English, Math, Creative Writing, and the Honors Program.  He went on to get the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship, and received his Masters in Math Education.  He taught High School Calculus and Algebra 2.  He also works on the side writing articles and novels and trying to get them published. Writing is his true love and would like to be a successful author someday.  He is currently attending the City College of New York working towards another Masters in Creative Writing.  He is also an adjunct professor there, teaching two courses.
Morgan graduated from TCNJ in 2019.  She received her degree in English.  At TCNJ, she ran and helped out in CUB, which is the student event planning organization.  She absolutely loved and thrived in her positions there, as well as did an internship in Philadelphia with a music management company.  Upon graduation, she was able to get a job in this field with a large music management company that is based out of San Diego, but also has a location in Philadelphia.  She loves what she does!  Camryn graduated as the Valedictorian from Seneca High School in 2020.  She played Varsity soccer.  She is also an avid equestrian and competes in the Hunter discipline almost every weekend.  She is currently attending the University of South Carolina in Columbia in the Honors Program.  She is a double major in Statistics and Finance and minors in Sports Management.
