Individual Counseling

To receive individual counseling, a student is referred by their parent, teacher, or principal. Students can also request to see the school counselor themselves, and have access to an appointment form.  Students see the School Counselor to talk about things that impact their learning at school, such as friendships, bullying, anger, anxiety, self-esteem, etc. The School Counselor keeps information confidential unless disclosure is required and will inform parents and/or appropriate authorities when the student’s condition indicates: Harm to Self, Harm to Others, or Harm from Others.
