Welcome

Hello!

My name is Mrs. Wolverton. I am your child's Health and Physical Education Teacher. I am so excited to meet all of you! This will be an exciting year filled with lots of new friends, adventures, and learning. This will be my fourth year teaching and second year in Southampton Township School District. I look forward to growing alongside of you.

Teaching is my life's passion, and I have known from a young age working with children was my lifelong career goal. I have spent the first two years of my professional career teaching at Mansfield Township School District upon graduating in May of 2020 from Rowan University. My years of experience as a teacher have helped me form a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom and beyond. I truly believe that their success begins with making them comfortable in the classroom. I start the school year with plenty of activities so everyone can get to know one another as well as myself. I encourage them to share their questions and opinions in an unbiased and open environment. I strive to create a space for students to explore their own learning styles.

It's my goal to ensure my students have every chance to work toward total physical, social and emotional wellness. Guiding my students toward a lifetime of health and happiness in the future.
