TASK FORCE TEAM MEETINGS

  • February 13, 2023: The Task Force Team came together for the first time to go over the purpose of strategic planning, why it is important to each stakeholder group, and to understand their role as a team. The team was divided into four groups (see information above), and each group engaged in elaborate discussion around their group topic and reviewed the Strategic Intents developed by the Leadership Team. The Strategic Intents provide a blueprint for the work of each group and govern the action plans that will be developed. Each group left the meeting with a sense of understanding in regards to the next steps and a little bit of homework for the next convening.
  • April 18, 2023: Task Force groups met to begin developing the action plans for the Strategic Intents outlined for each area above. To begin this work, a S.W.O.T. [Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (challenges)] analysis was completed by each group. Each member shared their perspective for each (S.W.O.T.) with regard to the area their group is working on. The discussions were robust, and each group was able to create a comprehensive list to springboard it to the next task of developing action plans. When complete, each action plan will outline, step-by-step, how each Strategic Intent will be accomplished. Each Task Force group was able to draft a number of action plans during this meeting and discuss next steps in the process. Each member will continue to collect resources and think about other steps needed in the action plans before the next meeting date.
  • May 17, 2023: Task Force groups met to finalize action plans for each Strategic Intent outlined by their group. Each group engaged in thoughtful discussion about where we are and where we want to be in the four key areas: Student Learning, Instruction, Climate and Culture, and Technology. Every voice at the table was heard, and each plan will be reflective of the collaborative efforts of each stakeholder group. Because of the progress during this meeting, the Task Force groups will not need to meet on June 7th. The next step in this process will be the review of all of the action plans by the Leadership Team before the presentation to the Core Team.
  • June 7, 2023: MEETING NO LONGER NEEDED
