Mrs. Kristine Bertulis
Mrs. Kristine Bertulis became the School #2 and School #3 Vice Principal in July 2014. In addition to her role as Vice Principal, Mrs. Bertulis is also the District Athletic Director and Attendance Officer. Before moving into administration, Mrs. Bertulis was a fourth grade teacher in the Southampton School District for four years. During her years as a teacher she served as an educational leader, serving on numerous committees, writing curriculum, and organizing student clubs and activities. Her experience in the classroom led to her selection as the 2013 Southampton School #2 Teacher of the Year.
Before joining the Southampton teaching staff, Mrs. Bertulis worked as a fourth and fifth grade teacher for three years in the Medford Township School District. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with K-8 certification from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Delaware Valley College in 2013.
Mrs. Bertulis resides in Shamong with her husband Jim, two daughters Anna and Abby, her dog Calvin, and cat Miss Meow. Dance has been a huge part of Mrs. Bertulis’ life and she makes sure to infuse it into our school community! In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends, dancing and eating delicious food.
Mrs. Bertulis feels very fortunate to have a job that she truly looks forward to coming to each and every day. She is passionate about making school a positive experience for all of the students and staff in Southampton; she strives to make Southampton School #2 and #3 an environment that is kind, empathetic, and where students feel safe.
