Meet Mrs. Hayes!

I am so excited to begin my 13th year in education and continue in RtI   I have been at School #1 since December 2018. I love my role as an RtI teacher because I not only get to work with students in grades K-2, but I also help students to develop a love for reading. Helping students to grow in their reading, while developing their reading engagement is very important to me. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University Maryland in 2010.  In 2014, I completed my Master's degree in Reading Education from Rowan in order to become a Reading Specialist.  Recently, I completed my Wilson Reading System certification and am now a certified Wilson teacher. 

 

In my free time, I love to run, spend time with my family and friends, and watch Netflix! In the summer, you can find me poolside soaking up the sun whenever possible!
