Hello and welcome to Mrs. Tosti's Kindergarten class! I am really looking forward to a fun-filled year of learning with your children!
We are Super Readers!
This year, we will work hard to build our reading stamina and earn our Super Reader powers. You can help, too! Please read with your child every night. Ask them questions about what you read. Talking about the pictures IS reading! Some questions you may ask:
- Who is in this story?
- Where are they?
- How is this character feeling? Why?
- What problem does this character have?
- How can they try to solve this problem?
