Melissa Walker is a devoted Christian, married to her husband Brian, and a mom to 3 children: Tyler, Kaiden, and Brielle.
She has been a resident of Southampton for 16 years and counting. She and her family moved here specifically for the school system when Tyler, her oldest, was entering first grade. He is a proud graduate of Southampton Township School District.
Melissa previously worked in retail corporate management for 13 ½ years, has an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and was about to become a Forensic Scientist until she decided to start her business. Currently,
Melissa is a successful entrepreneur, owning an online Health and Wellness business. She is very involved with her kids' education, sports and activities. Melissa also has volunteered with children`s ministry and led Bible studies at her Church. Throughout the years, she has also organized thousands of donations during the holidays for our military overseas. Melissa loves to serve and felt called to get off the bench and get involved in our community.
She has a vision, commitment, perseverance, faith, and an incredible work ethic. Building trust and being transparent with our students, their family, and our community is incredibly important to her.
As a parent and a member of the School Board, you can feel confident that Melissa will be putting the students first and focusing on the return of traditional old-school values. She looks forward to the opportunity to serve the children of Southampton and the future generations to come!
